Heubach children on ride a wooden sled down the snowy side of a planter. Pic 7.3b in my book. There are so many wonderful things to say about this Heubach snow baby piece! The children's faces are quite lifelike, both in molding and painting. The clothing is molded to fall softly in folds, almost making us believe that the mold began with the true form of the sledding trio. This is a piece I have used on tufted cotton batting as a centerpiece on my Christmas table. 5.37" $2350

13.44b Santa has a big smile on his face, probably because he is skiing with much less effort here. The paint on this piece is in excellent condition. Red paint on these pieces can be damaged so easily. 1.87". $200

13.58a This snow baby Santa has trained polar bears to pull his sleigh coach. He doesn't seem to even need reins! Stuffed animals peer through the coach windows. 1.62" $225

8.4b Heubach pieces are always outstanding in molding and painting.Very few of the pieces we snow baby enthusiasts collect are actually marked Heubach. This one is. It really does look like a bear from the true back side! I've wondered who dreamed up this piece? A child certainly couldn't sit like this. Could a bear? It's so wonderfully imaginative! This is the largest size of this piece. 3.5" $1050

14.76a. Quite large at nearly 3.5", and not always well treated, or perhaps loved to death. Quite a bit of paint loss on his right leg and some on his wrist. He has a nice face, and the rest of the paint is original Let's price him at $16

18.16b I described this piece in my book as a Russian church. It's a modest piece, but buildings add a lot to a snow baby scene. I've priced this modestly, too. 2.25" $18
